ntc is free software.
ntc synchronizes the workstation's clock with a time server using the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP).

SNTP is described in the Internet standards document:
RFC 2030 - Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) Version 4 for IPv4, IPv6
SNTP is an extremely reliable protocol for time-synchronization on the Internet with accuracy from 1 to 50 milliseconds, even over great distances.
ntc was tested on Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista.

USAGE
ntc.exe [timeserver] [delay (ms)]
ntc connects to the NTP time server and synchronizes the client's clock.
The time-server can be specified as a parameter, if none is given it connects to pool.ntp.org.
Optionally you can specify the delay before synchronizing as a second argument [ms].
An easy way to sync your machine is to put a shortcut of 'ntc.exe' in your startup folder and specify the timeserver in the 'Target:' edit box under the shortcut's file properties.
After ntc synchronizes time with the server the application terminates after 5 seconds -unless an error occurs- then it closes after 10 secs.
